𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐩𝐡𝐨 (3.5⭐️; $22) - One of the pricier renditions around but justified by the generous portion of tender beef ribeye. The broth was clean while retaining hearty bold flavour.

𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐡 𝐦𝐢 ($15/2 petite) - First time trying sourdough rendition and it added a tangy savory depth to the usual baguette. Airy and crispy, and loaded with delicious fillings. Would recommend the Krabby (4.2⭐️) rendition with crunchy soft shell crab, kombucha pickles, siracha chili. Signature pork (4⭐️) was more classic with crispy pork belly.

Banh xeo mini (3⭐️; $7) - Egg-based Vietnamese pancake with enjoyable crispy edges but found it on the starchy side. Appreciated the prawns but wished for more generous loading of ingredients.

Pho tai (3.5 ⭐️; $8.70) - Classic beef pho with flavourful broth, slurpworthy rice noodles, and sliced beef. Enjoyed the broth’s depth of meaty flavour but would have appreciated reduced salt. There was a decent portion of thin cut slices but found the pieces a tad overcooked.

Grilled Pork Banh Mi ($6)
Shredded Chicken Pho ($6.50)
⭐️ 3.5/5 ⭐️
🍴Affordable, authentic, and hearty Vietnamese fare in a coffee shop.

The handmade freshly baked baguettes were crispy and flaky with an enjoyable airy and light crumb; one of the better ones around! The grilled pork sausages were well-marinated and tender, paired with fresh vegetables and coriander. Whilst a yummy bite, personal wish was for more butter or some sauce for added flavour and creaminess.

The pho was comforting with its clean-tasting and light broth. Would recommend their Bahn Mi over this as we found it quite standard and the chicken meat to be on the tougher side.

𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐬 (4.5 ⭐️; $6.80) - Highly recommend these addictive and crispy rolls filled with a mix of seafood and yam, and coated in crispy flaky batter.

Among the 2 speciality rice sets, we preferred the 𝐛𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐨 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 (4⭐️; $16.80) over the 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 (3.5⭐️; $16.80). Both featured delicious and well-marinated grilled meats with a nice char. Enjoyed the chewy and sticky bamboo rice that had subtle coconut aroma whilst the broken rice was on the harder side.

𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 ($5.80) - Smooth and wobbly original/ pandan custard uniquely paired with fragrant Vietnamese coffee shaved ice. Especially liked the combination of aromatic pandan flan with the bittersweet coffee.

𝐏𝐡𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐱 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐧 ($19.80) - Hearty, slurpworthy beef broth. Served with an assortment of beef - thin beef slices, beef brisket (on the tougher side), and beef balls (personal favourite).

𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐮 ($29.80) - DIY spring roll platter with delicious ingredients - fermented shrimp roll (my fav!), fried sweet rice flake meatball (interesting sweet-savory bite; chá côm), fried pig cartilage sausage, fatty boiled pork trotter, taupok (+$3) - and fresh condiments. Was our first time trying many of the fried items and enjoyed their fragrant aroma, and crispy yet soft texture.

Crispy baguette stuffed with banana ham, tofu egg, walnut pate, pickles, and mixed herbs. Great mix of flavours and textures with sweet, salty, tangy, and herbaceous all in one bite.
