Savoury goodness for people who love carbs😝

I’ve always loved bread& butter pudding so had to get this! Heated it up in the oven and the top was crisp while insides were soft and slightly custardy, and what a pleasant surprise that there was chocolate within! Forgot to take a photo before digging in but the actual size is double of this.

Finally got to try and I loved it!! The fun-sized kid’s red bean butter ($2.30) was great, buns were soft and fluffy, the red bean isn’t too sweet and texture is great cos you get bits of red beans, and the butter that melds everything together like a comforting toast. The plain buns here were good too!

@burntends.bakery_sg sell these in half a dozen/ dozen so the real reason why we all need friends : to share the calories😛

Finally tried these fluffy doughnuts, very generous with the fillings (a good mess!) and I liked that it’s not greasy and generally not too cloying even with the coating of sugar. Passionfruit curd was definitely my favourite with that slight tang! Nutella was expectedly rich while vanilla was rather mild. They’re currently having a mixed flavours box (really wanted to try milo Dino, lemon meringue and pandan!)

The brown butter chocolate chip cookies which were decent, liked the brown butter fragrance but it was a tad sweet. Also got the Gruyere cheese & scallion scones - crusty top while the insides were moist and fluffy, usually not a fan of scallion but we really enjoyed this savoury option.
