📍Yi Da Bakery, AMK Market
Weird picture but I wanted to showcase the filling of the bun, because it was really authentic red bean, the lumpy kind! Also really soft bread hehe

I was amazed by the super soft bread!

Slightly smaller than the other brands and there’s less topping too, but a little less dry than the Four Leaves one though.
📍Marks & Spencers, Wheelock Place
I think I found my fav toast type of bread!
📍DJ Bakery, Tanjong Pagar
Nice! No mayo filling however, and not available at the Thomson Plaza outlet.
📍Swee Heng, AMK Market
Supposedly less sweet, I found this bun to have an odd taste. Maybe I was not used to it after my normal red bean bun from DJ Bakery. $2.20 for 4 buns is a good deal at this neighbourhood branch of the Swee Heng chain. Their other offerings seem poorer in quality than the mall branches, though.

A little on the dry side, but I’ll get it for the crunchy walnuts.
📍Swee Heng 1989, Guoco Tower
Got this for free from the studio after class and at first I thought it was just going to be a normal bread with some almond flakes and raisins on the top. Little did I know that there was generous filling of blueberry jam in the bun! What a sweet surprise, something different and pleasant. An unexpected answer to my sweet tooth this afternoon.
📍BreadTalk, Wheelock Place
The most pricey of all the pork floss buns I’ve tried, this didn’t live up because it was so dry! No filling at all.
📍DJ Balery, Thomson Plaza
Yummier than I remembered! Sweet taste of the char siew, complemented by the soft texture of the bread.
📍Four Leaves, Thomson Plaza
Why was the bun so dry this time round đź¤
