Ordered the Ebi Ten Katsu set worth ($24) and it came with the rice bowl (ebi + chicken katsu + egg), miso soup, chicken skin & water. It was alright, like any other regular japanese rice bowls in foodcourts, but I gotta say, this was really filling. Super worth the 1-for-1!
The closest you can get to Japan with this Pandemic.
(The photo is not complete, got too hungry to wait š )
We ordered:
- Aburi Scallops $13
- Oysters in Ponzu $13
- Aburi Salmon Don $13
- Unagi Don $15
- Salmon Terriyaki Don $12
- Special Aburi Salmon Don $14
- Asahi Pint $6
- Kronenbourg $8
- Somersby Pear $7
You can choose to opt how cooked you want the salmon to be, and also an additional $2 to complete your meal (when you order a rice bowl) compliments you with salted endamame beans and miso soup.
Overall, good vibes and great food! Would definitely come back for more. Oh, don't forget to bring cash! šµš°
Decided to give this place a try and had lunch here with my partner as we are both Japanese cuisine lovers. I think its safe to say we over ordered by the amount of things we picked.
From the udon noodles, to the vegetable fritters, croquets, fried crabstick, tempura and squid; who wouldn't be overwhelmed š
All this for approx. $30ish, i'd say it's a good deal, but if you're craving for something healthy, do avoid the fried stuff. But of course, a treat once in a while isn't a bad idea!
