It saddens me to write a bad review, but I think I owe it to any one else who plans to eat here. Please manage your expectations.
The best way to describe the food is koreanised chinese food, Singaporeanised. The jjajang myeon was mediocre, the spicy pork was way too sweet even for a korean marinated meat, the kalguksu was ok but the broth tastes like chinese noodle soup. The only not bad thing was the chicken that came with it, which was in terriyaki sauce (not even korean). Don't get me started on the kimchi. The portion was small and it was not refillable. But it was a blessing in disguise cause it was old and yes, I get that kimchi is a fermented dish and technically just gets more sour, but this had a gone bad taste.
If you want your korean fix, this is not the place to get it. If you want chinese/singaporean styled korean food, maybe it is right up your alley.
Decent Carbonara, noodles were not over or under cooked, the sauce wasn't too watery and coated the noodles just nice. It was flavourful enough to satisfy my craving. Though, they can use a but less parmesan shavings on the top, cause the sauce and bacon were already salty enough. Portion was just nice, any more would have been jelak.
