Pasta 🍝

Knew the existence of this place cos of BB, but in the end BB deals were not as worth as compared to student prices.

Student Ml. (comes with free can of soft drink + free pasta upsize), one of those places that's in my books for cheap/value-for-money.

Decent plate of pasta, although portion size was still quite small even after upsizing. Carbonara here has a stronger "hammy taste" than creamy/cheese-y taste. Value for $$, will be back if I'm craving cheap and decent pasta.

$17.05 for 2, ($7.95 x 2 x 1.07)

Interior decor is 💯💯 for date nights and couples, my first step into this restaurant I wondered why the heck I chose to visit this place with a guy lol

Mains:
- Fettucine Boscaiola ($32) (L-Bottom)
(basically fettucine w ham & mushrooms in a white wine sauce)
· White Wine Sauce was indeed very potent, distinct tasting
- Lobster Ravioli ($32)

Antipasti Classico (Starters):
- Insalata Di Salmone ($24)
(smoked salmon w salad/capers in a lemon vinaigrette)
- Calamari Fritti ($19)
(pretty worth side & quickbites tbh, comes w 2 dipping sauces, 1 pizza-ish tomato sauce and the other sth like a sour cream tartar)

Paid ~$34 per pax, $$ price point.

Disappointing and dishes had a homely-feel (not in a good way, lacklustre tasting). Do note that with BB they now stopped serving the free appetizer inclusive in the 1-for-1 $20, which was disappointing since I looked forward to their Beef Chilli Fries, seeing the reviews. Decoration was very laid-back and had chill vibes but food wise personally I felt even I could have cooked it even better lol - fries & skin of grilled salmon way too salty and overseasoned, overcooked pasta. Luckily only cost $22 w svc, for both.

Tempura Mentaiko - I generally liked it (didn't find any reason to dislike it) despite seeing quite a number of negative reviews for this, value for $$ since you get 3pcs of battered fish for the price @U.P. of $20. Mentaiko taste was prominent and not overwhelming, nothing to rave about but definitely not lacklustre, decent bowl of pasta really. 8/10

Truffle Carbonara (friend got this) - If you're a fan of creamy pasta (I am) well this won't go wrong for you (not in a position to rate since I only took 2-3 bites) (U.P. $24), x 1.177 = $28.25 for 2
