A surprising find at this dim sum place at Arc 380! Absolutely loved this dim sum which nailed all the right spots.

Flavourful and juicy meat, thin yet firm skin and overall an amazing dim sum. I am not usually impressed by dim sum. But this really changed my view. Will definitely head down to get more dim sum soon!

Decided to head down to Oishii Ristorante to try out their Pastas as I had a Chope 1 for 1 voucher and was pleasantly surprised by this quaint restaurant at Frasers Towers!

The Truffle Mushroom & Seaweed Rigatoni was delicious. A strong truffle smell wafted through the air as the pasta came and the addition of the mushroom sauteed in the truffle cream with nori on top really provided a complexity of flavours to this dish. The rigatoni was the perfect capsule to capture the earthy and creamy flavours and was definitely a delectable dish!

The Tagliatelle Bolognese however fell relatively flat in comparison. While still having a good beefy flavour, the dish itself could have used more tang from its base and more textures. The tomato base could have been seasoned a tad bit more, with more sausage and beef to elevate the flavours and provide more textures. Overall, while this was a still a good pasta, it could have been better, given the price point as well.

I would still head down again to try their other dishes and they have a really good happy hour too! Do give them a try!

This prosciutto pizza from LINO was absolutely delicious. The combination of mozzarella and shaved parmesan provided great distinct flavours for the cheeses and this was supplemented by the sharp and salty proscuitto that was provided in great quantity all over the pizza. The arugula was the perfect choice as it cut through the sharp flavours and provided a great overall balance. LINO's crust was fluffy and the pizza was thin, which I really enjoyed. Overall, a great pizza and with @burpple , you can get 20% off!

As a fan of Yuzu, I had to try this Shio Yuzu Ramen from Afuri. The citrus-y and chicken broth was an interesting innovation, albeit being an overall miss. The yuzu flavour dominated the broth and while it was a great and refreshing broth for the first few mouths, it soon became surfeiting due to the strong yuzu flavour. The char siew could have been better charred and the bamboo shoots and seaweed left much to be desired in terms of providing another layer of flavour to balance against the shio yuzu. The overall ramen left me feeling satisfied, not due to its harmony of flavours, but instead due to its huge portion.

I would still recommend to try to see if it would suit your tastebuds!

Wildfire's Double Cheeseburger was practically dripping with juices. The two thick patties was sandwiched in toasted brioche buns, caramelised onions, pickled cucumber, their sauced and American cheese. A solid group of ingredients that simply elevated this burger int erms of flavour and balance. I relished each bite of the medium rare patties that were superbly seasoned and cooked. Alas, I wished that the pickled cucumbers packed more of a sharp taste to cut through the beefy flavour. That or perhaps a thicker slice would have been better as the burger was rather beefy towards the end bites.

Unassuming with its look, Wildfire's burgers provide quality. Their fries were crispy and well seasoned too, but it was rather standard. Perhaps a signature sauce provided would be better to complement the fries. I will be back to try their other burgers and shoutout to their staff who were really friendly too!

Cocoboss' Avocado Coconut Shake was super refreshing and kept me alert throughout my post lunch food coma. The coconut bits provided a great texture balance and the avocado provided a needed depthness of flavour to the overall drink. At 0% sugar level, it was perfect with its sweetness from the coconut itself. With @burpple , you're getting a fairly priced drink, which would otherwise be rather highly priced. Still, I enjoyed this smooth drink and will be back for more.

Get these dumplings when you're at restaurant aisyah. With a generous amount of filling and well seasoned meat, this dish is here to satisfy. Slather on that amazing spicy sauce and go to town. Just pray for your stomach the following day. I'll be back for them and revel in the spice again👍🏽

A set of solid value, this Wanton Noodle comes with fried and soup Wanton, lots of char siew and a good quantity of noodles too! The noodles were springy and eggy, which I really liked. The char siew was both sweet and salty, but could have had more fatty bits to it. The Wanton on the other hand was superb. Both Wantons were meaty and seasoned well, making for a huge chunky bites that complemented the noodles. Overall, a quick value lunch that was really hearty, yet not giving you a food coma. Do give it a try!

An unassuming muffin for sure, I chanced upon this when I was wanting to get a snack at Mellower coffee. It was an amazing decision as this muffin hit all the right spots. After heated, the fluffy and airy muffin was juxtaposed by the crunchy walnut and the moist and sweet banana. A perfect combination that I have tried on multiple occasions and continue to enjoy every time. It might not be a flavour that is liked by everyone, but it's a 10/10 in my book. Get it.

Miam miam's beef donburi has its highs and lows. The beef was seasoned well and really tender. Despite not having a good sear/crust, it still stood out and I enjoyed it. Together with the rice, onsen egg and pickles, this was a satisfying bowl with a portion that was just right.

The price, however, is definitely steep for this bowl. At $23.90 and for the cut of meat, the price is definitely steep for this bowl. Competitors do edge this one out, and perhaps a lunch set could fix this issue. I might come down to have this once in a while, but it would be a tough sell despite nailing the beef.

Farelynn's brownies achieves the perfect balance. Moist and fudgy, these brownies are not overly sweet and the addition of the sea salty elevates the flavour of each bite. The richness of the brownie is also toned down by this sea salt and avoids being surfeiting. I've had them many times and have to say they are my favourite brownies till date.
