Akamaru Shinaji Special ($22) -Creamy tonkatsu broth decently enhanced with miso paste and fragrant oil. Mix everything to get a depth and rich flavour but not overly robust. Dish came with 4pcs pork belly chasiu🍖,3pcs Nori, thin noodle, black fungus, 1/2egg🥚 and spring onion🍃. Medium noodles were decently bouncy.

Chicken 🐤🐤Shoyu Special ($22) - Store Exclusive. Dish came with 4 slices of Chashu🍖, 3pcs Nori, Bamboo Shoot, Spinach, Japanese Leek, 1 Fish cake 🍥and 1/2 egg🥚. Springy and chewy thicker noodle in homemade chicken broth sprinkled with Yuzu slices. Broth is mild chicken flavour and gets rather monotonous. In fact, lacks depth which makes it like "atas" instant ramen.

Their eggs 🥚🥚were pretty good which were well marinated within the gooey running yolk. I wish they gave me the whole egg.😁😁The chasiu were tender and juicy🍖🍖.

Peanut Mochi 🥜🥜($1.20) - thick and chewy Mochi with subtle sweet yam filling. Ending with a nutty fragrance by the peanut powder coating. Well, it is a huge piece of Mochi.

Head down as early as possible to avoid dissapointment or call to book in advance. I reached down by 9.30am and only 3 types of tarts available at the moments. I consider myself lucky for the day. I am pretty sure it is a third of the price compared to those fancy artisan patisserie.
