One of the signature dishes in the menu. The dish comes with hard boiled egg, noodles, beehoon, pork slices, fresh prawns, tau gay, fish cake slices as well as pork lard that is still crispy. Soup isn’t too spicy, and can be easily eaten and drank.

This is a very wholesome meal. I always find comfort in Mui Kee frog legs porridge. Although Mui kee is famous for its parrot fish porridge, the frog legs porridge is also pretty well done.

This is one of the Teo chew stalls in food junction. It has a long queue during lunch hours. But the soup is totally delicious. I would prefer the pomfret soup instead, which is $11 a bowl. The fish texture is softer than red garoupa($9/bowl) nonetheless, soup broth is fresh and very wholesome.

Yam paste was surprising more outstanding than the main dish (white beehoon) it is smooth, creamy and also yummy.

An average dish that now many of its competitors seem to fare better in. Standards are not consistent across other branches and sadly, this didn’t work for ya.

This small portion $12 + is good enough for 2pax, e.g the restaurant gave exactly 2 prawns inside this small portion. The lor mee is still flavourful and has thick gravy that isn’t too heavy. I choose the one without the red flavouring. ( not sure what it was again)

This is one must try fish. The chestnuts in it are so crunchy and each roll is plump and moist. A plate of this costs $8.80. Worth the money! The dish is accompanied with plum sauce but the homemade red chilli that they serve does the work too! :) will return for more dishes

Closer look at the pork and char siew ramen. Slightly tough char siew, but love the pork ribs and egg

Used 1-1 for this redemption. Was quite decent, big bowl with black fungus and meat and nicely done egg.
However, meat can be abit tough for the char siew.

What was nice is the bubble tea that we got. It’s not part of the 1-1 but just a must to try it if you are there! Chewy bubbles and the option to have it hot, instead of the typical cold bubble tea.
