I had the cappuccino and almond croissant. The cappuccino was topped with a tint of chocolate which helped round off the taste nicely.
I especially enjoyed the attention to detail in the layout and calming music. There was sufficient space for each table, and wifi and water was provided. This is a great place for conversations and work during off-peak hours.
This cafe is always crowded on the weekends, so we finally managed to find a space on Monday late morning. The crowd is a lot less, but the space is also limited, so going at off-peak hours is a lot more comfortable. The menu is slightly pricey, so likely will only go with the Burpple deals. The drink can be upsized but will be the regular price, minus $2.
The double toasts were generous, but the drinks weren’t amazing. We had the avo egg and salmon cream toasts, a coffee and tea latte. We enjoyed the ambience, and the meaningful, well-curated pop-up shop. However, the ambience only works if it’s not very crowded. Nevertheless, was a pleasant experience!

Enjoyed the affordable but yummy mains. We had the big breakfast and shakshouka, which were decent. However, the eggs benedict weren’t seasoned. The space is not huge, but large enough for the crowd and the windows kept the area well-lit.

Pleasant experience at Brosis Eatery. The set-up is like a cafe, with a menu specialising in Peranakan food. The food was affordable, tasty, and served with free agar agar and green bean soup.

As usual, The Assembly Ground doesn’t disappoint. Although the food looks pricey, the taste is worth the price. Burpple only covers pasta, which is pretty worth it.

Cafe Milligram serves healthy meal options and boasts great coffees. The food was decent, but not fantastic. The ambience was enjoyable because we went after the lunch crowd. However, meals were on the pricier side and the location was not easy to get to.

As matcha-lovers, my friend and I were expecting to enjoy matcha desserts and we weren’t disappointed. Maccha House has a wide variety of matcha desserts, and other mains to start with. Orchard Central was crowded even on a weekday afternoon, but the staff were relatively fast.

Had lunch here with the Burpple deal, and the food was unexpectedly good! We had the salmon pesto pasta and salmon plus, which was filling and not too heavy in taste.

Had an enjoyable late afternoon break. The ambience was calming and good for chatting. The waffles were crisp outside and fluffy inside. Coffee was decent and with Beyond was a great deal.
