Fusion
This is part of the dessert menu in Bee Cheng Hiang. Gelato is not new to many. But to have Bak kwa in the vanilla flavour, have you tried it?
Well, this is an interesting one, where we find the Ice-Cream to be of vanilla taste but with each mouthful, there is the lingering smell/taste of Bak Kwa, which isn’t overpowering. It’s in fact, quite nice. Are you game to try it?
Soursop Sencha (yellow drink) and grape oolong tea (red) love the refreshing iced tea. A nice cafe bar in Bugis area for a good weekday afternoon.
This was one of the recommended dessert, instead of using Jempedek Ice cream, the staff there informed us that it is now substituted with mango ice cream, which goes well with crispy crusts to form a nice profiterole. $12 for ala-carte. Not cheap, but just for the fun of sharing. :)
This is one of the dishes using 1 using burpple beyond. It’s nice and worth it as you can use the burpple beyond for most of the main dishes except for breakfast meals. It’s a fusion dish of western and oriental ideas such as the mini fried mantou. A most delectable dish that I would order again!
