Used burpple 1 for 1 to get two different dishes. However, they messed up our order and insisted that we ordered wrongly. Despite the bad experience, their Truffle Eggs Prosciutto was really good. The brioche bread was really good! It was buttery, soft and fluffy, similar to being on a cloud. Some people may find it too soft for their liking but i loved it. The combination of eggs that tasted light, with a tad salty prosciutto really elevated the taste of the whole dish. Super worth the deal! Recommend!

Nicely fried egg with a runny yolk, a juicy sausage, grilled tomato, fresh greens and bacons that were not too salty. The meal also came with toasted breads that were really crisp and complemented the ingredients. Really worth the 1 for 1 ala carte breakfast.

❣️𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐚 & 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞, add on 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 ($23++)
Creamy burrata spread on top of soft yet crisp sourdough, complemented with a variety of toppings: cherry tomatoes, sliced almonds, caramelised onions and pickles. Eaten together really brings out the flavour of the dish, really light on the palette and perfect for brunch.

❣️𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 ($26++)
Very very generous servings of ingredients. All of it was really delicious too. Love the cheesy sausage, which had a nice bite and nice amount of cheese. The thick cut maple bacon was not too salty, and their scrambled eggs were cooked really nice and creamy. Super filling and good.

Overall, this place really hits the spot for a nice filling brunch and officially takes over populus as my no. 1 brunch place in sg.

A giant salad bowl packed full of goodness. Every single sides and mains were soooo freaking good sia. Especially loved the jade tofu that was wonderfully seasoned as well as the olive rice which was not too dry. Of course you cannot miss out their eggs, so soft and creamy it literally melts in your mouth.

Salted caramel, kaya pandan, earl grey, lemon, pistachio and dark chocolate. Not only do they look aesthetically pleasing to your eyes, but tastes exceptional as well. Overall, they are not too sweet and the cream filling was really generous and nicely complements the layer of cream on the outside.

The serving of beef balls and beef slices was generous and the meat was fresh and tender, and i also liked the addition of sliced ginger in the soup. However, noodles were too soft, a little overcooked and the broth was a bit too salty for my liking. Overall, taste okay but a bit hmm for the price.

Love every single flavour of their egg tarts! Though if i have to choose, the 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐠𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭 ($2) is still the best: silky egg custard with a nice buttery crust. 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭 ($2) was nice as well with a subtle, not too overpowering pandan taste. 𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭 ($2.50) had gooey boba fillings inside the brown sugar custard, that wasn’t too sweet, and 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭 ($2.70) was filled 100% with coconut flakes which was a lil too coconut-ty for my liking. Personally, i think that taicheong sells the best hk egg tarts and all of them are really good!

Sweet sauce marinated pho and a very generous portion of both chewy and tender beef slices, with lots of herbs and veggies. Tastes similar to hor fun, but much more dry and sweet. Personally really enjoyed it.

Their soondubu was legit man. Such delicate tofu that tasted freshly grind. The soup was so flavourful as well, with all the generously assorted ingredients: beef, crab, squid and prawn. Though the portion may seem small, but wow, it was extremely filling for 2 person. Also liked their variety of banchan: corvina, kimchi, cucumber, seaweed and pickled squid. However, the LA galbi was too chewy for my liking, as it was hard to peel it apart. It was also too sweet and oily.... Fried dumplings, filled with japchae and chives, tasted pretty average. Overall, would come back for their soondubu, but probably not the rest.

Got the 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚-𝐦𝐞𝐧 ($8.50) and 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧 ($7.50) cause they are the only two spicy items on the menu and also because it was raining. Was pleasantly surprised as i did not expect it to actually give that kick of spice, and the pork broth was also nicely flavourful with a collagen layer on the top. I liked that they added LOTS of chopped up green onions, which elevated the flavour of the broth. Noodles were springy, while their meat was tender and generous. Added on an 𝐀𝐣𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚 that was soft and had a perfectly runny yolk, and also 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐤𝐢 ($5.90), which we thought was not too bad as well. Overall, i prefer the spicy broth from the karaka-men as compared to the dense spicy/creamy broth from the tantanmen. Will def come back to try more stuff on their menu!

❣️𝐏𝐡𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐦 ($7.90)
Flavourful, yet not too oily nor herby, filled generously with beef that were cooked well done, in between tender and tough. Would say its probably the most authentic pho i’ve tasted so far.

❣️𝐂𝐡𝐚 𝐆𝐢𝐨, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨 𝐓𝐨𝐦, 𝐆𝐨𝐢 𝐂𝐮𝐨𝐧 ($12)
Fresh and fried spring rolls were filled generously with fresh ingredients and sugar cane shrimps had a nice tender springy texture. Loved this dish the most out of all.

❣️𝐆𝐨𝐢 𝐗𝐨𝐚𝐢 ($8.50)
Green mango were more on the unripe side, but gave a nice bite to it, complementing the sweet/sour sauce that came with it. They also gave lots of fresh prawns and thin sliced of pork belly on top. Relatively dry as not much sauce was provided, but quite flavourful already nonetheless.

❣️𝐂𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐦 & 𝐂𝐮𝐚 ($12)
Nicely flavoured egg fried rice that were not too oily, with lots of fresh prawns and pieces of crab meat.

❣️𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐡 𝐊𝐡𝐨𝐭 ($10)
Vietnamese pancake with a piece of shrimp on top. Not much flavour but not too bad.

Overall, its the most authentic vietnamese food i’ve tasted so far as all the dishes taste exactly the same as the ones i had when i had in vietnam. However, the location is very inaccessible unless you drive, and i recommend coming during non peak period as there will 100% be a queue.

Good balance of dense and fluffy waffles with a nice aroma of earl grey lavender ice cream and strong honey flavour. I like that their ice cream did not melt too fast and that their biscuits were still crunchy despite absorbing lots of moisture. The cut fruits were also fresh and sweet and the portion was quite big for two person. Overall, good quality waffles and ice cream for a relatively cheap price.
