According to my friend who is a regular, today's pancake is alittle subpar. I feel it could have been crispier. The seafood ingredients are pretty generous though.
Remember to keep the sauce and the meat separate. It's actually quite nice and crispy. But the batter got soggy and starchy towards the end. I find myself having to eat as fast as i can to enjoy the crispiness. The meat itself is alittle bland bit the sauce has enough zing. Some people might find the sweetness a little strange.
I have never tastesld obba but so far I am loving this version. Nice chewy noodles and an intense enough sauce. I didn't don't it too heavy which is good. I recommend this too.
Yum yum. The noodles are so chewy and goes so well with the seafood soup. I opted for spice level 2. It's quite spicy but worth the burn because it pairs so well with the seafood soup and ingredients. But it can get quite spicy if you are eating it alone.Do share. This dish is a must order.
All the usual suspects are inside this dish. The good thing is that they did not stinge with the portions, you get a good amount of beef and egg plants inside. What I can't understand is why it is oily and tasteless. I hope it's a one off thing and that the Chef is probably on leave that day.
The grilled egg plant is a crowd pleaser, everyone loved it.
The fried mantou is ok but I wish they had used the small versions. It's more enjoyable.
The onion noodle is quite nice of you like the taste of onion noodles. One the of person in our group who prefers chilli noodles found it ordinary.
I think the grill lamb skewers is jux so so. It has a distinctive gamey taste. It's well seasoned with cumin and other spices and quite tender for a grilled lamb. But I would skip it the next time as it's not a die die must order type of dish for me.
I highly recommend this place. The skin of the fish is lightly grilled and we can taste the nice smoky flavour combined with the garlicy sauce. So good with plain rice. We order the limbo fish and added some lotus roots slices and black fungus. Go for the green chilli if you like spice but do not want it too spicy
It's a decently done carrot cake and is pretty dense. I am not a fan of carrot cakes so it's normal to me. This might sound crazy but I do not want carrots in my cakes. Why do people add veggies to their desserts? ,🤣🤣😅
There is a slight root beer taste. Reminds me more of a chocolate lava cake. The cake seems to have its fans.A few of us love it. Some found it tasting like a normal chocolate cake. I guess you gotta try to find out.
Among their new range of cakes. This one is slightly better. It's not the best. But the earl grey is distinct and rich. Inside, you will find some crispy chocolate layer. You can also find a layer of blue berry jelly inside but it not too strong in taste and doesn't add much to the overall taste. But it really help that they added a large number of fresh blueberries on top and make it pretty yummy to pair with the rich earl grey dense cream.
Not my cup of tea. At first taste, the outer layer is a thin piece of cake which doesn't add much to the taste and bland. As I dig inside I do taste the cheesecake cream inside but at this price, I think it's just average. I prefer the taste of their earlier range of chocolate cheesecake which is since and a yummy version rivaling the cat and fiddle. This one just tastes plain and average. Sorry Wimbly
We can always count on matchaya to produce quality matcha milk drink. Not too sweet yet smooth and silky just the way I like it. The azuki roll puzzled me. I don't anything from the cream. Not sweet but also no taste of green tea. It might be because of the fact that I am already the matchya milk with it . I am not sure. This roll is definitely an adult taste bec the only sweetness comes from the red bean part. I think it's a good choice if you want a cake but don't want something too cloying. I might try it again with a milder tea to be certain.
