At $5, I’m getting osen egg, char siew and dumpling. The portion of char siew is on the small side and it’s abit too fatty for my liking. The dumpling is well seasoned and comes with a nice crunch from the chestnut

It used to be good. My ribeye was served cold, Brussels sprout was so undercook it’s almost raw.

I’m so glad I’ve tried this. Chance upon it while I’m at Somerset 313 and decided to give it a go when I saw it at burpple which otherwise I don’t think I’ll try. It’s so worth with the 1 for 1 from burpple. I tried both smoke duck and tempura Ebi. They’re both fantastic and soul warming. Wasn’t expecting it to be such comforting food

Quite disappointing. My soba is soggy and it’s not even drenched with dressing. In fact that’s not enough dressing. I had to go back to add yuzu dressing. The asparagus was almost raw. It’s $12 bucks. Goodness sake. Please don’t abuse customers who patronise you.

Having said it’s a buffet. Cocobolo can’t keep up to the food demands, even on a half full Friday evening, serving only 6 tables. As much as we’re trying to eat slowly while waiting for our next serving. The food gets cold and dry as we wait. Each serving is at least 15 to 20 mins and everytime we ordered something, the staff gets stressed up. The bbq grill used, which you find in your neighbours backyard is obviously too small to cater and serve its purpose. This place is not for hungry souls

The steak and mutton is way over cooked and there are cases the prawns are undercooked. The marination is non existence.

They served dessert before asking for it.

My next table asked for fish and they said they ran out of fish And they served dessert to compensate. Speechless

Read poor reviews and heard lousy feedback from people. Despite all the negativity, I went ahead to try, just for the novelty.... it’s actually not bad. Plus what I had was a takeaway, it remained crispy and crunchy.

There’s always a long queue because it takes time for the staff to make them. I wasn’t having high expectation honestly, but the pancake really fall short of standard. I mean what can go wrong with the classic pancake right? Mac Donald’s pancake tasted better
