As the subject suggests, this is my 2nd visit after 3 years and I’m reminded why I haven’t patronised since. Waiter at the entrance has no idea what burpple is and the way he replied wasn’t helpful. After placing my order with another waiter, he came back after 5 minutes saying baked pasta wasn’t included + dozen more choices were not included. (He came back to take my order again - told me to be faster after 1-2 min because he has a lot of things to tend to - yes his words) Fine print only stated sharing platter as exclusion. The place was almost filled so that explains the long wait time but the food were definitely below normal standard. Thanks burpple, I’m never coming back and saving my $15.90 that I’d spend happily at MacDonald’s.

The beetroot soon kueh comes as a vegetarian option besides the carrot soon kueh (which was sold out that day). Had expected a stronger flavour from the beetroot, but still pretty enjoyable. Classic is a definite favourite for me with crunchy flavourful turnips within the silky skin.
