Cô Ba means Miss Three in Vietnamese, but this is one of the best among Việt restaurants in Sing. Granted, there’s no great fine dining or even home-style Việt eateries here - it’s all street food - but Cô Ba is authentic and yummy. The menu is shorter than the famous Long Phụng in Joo Chiat, but the food is better, it’s more central, and much quieter. Prices are extremely reasonable, and they don’t charge for GST and service.

This Việt restaurant is the most authentic in Singapore. You won’t find the street food dishes (like bún riêu, many snail dishes) in many Việt joints here. A good sign is Vietnamese from all walks of life eat here, from investment managers, academics, to ladies of the night! But perhaps no vegans.
