Ice Cream & Yogurt

The blue cheese flavour in the Blue cheese walnut praline was not overpowering yet you could definitely taste cheese in the ice cream. The savouriness complemented the sweet walnut praline. I like this flavour combination although the walnut praline could do with less sugar crystals. Texture wise it was not bad and not too milky.

Mascarpone & honey figs tasted like your strawberry ripple - mascarpone was really subtle I couldn’t taste it, with swirls of figs jam.

I tend to go for unique flavours or basic flavours that are done realllly well. The blue cheese walnut praline is worth a try if you are around the area.

Was pleasantly surprised by the intensity of the coffee. Not the milky coffee I was expecting but pretty strong. Taste v good with cocoa nibs. My fav flavour here followed by PB choc. Cone as usual was very buttery and good.

Cafe latte: Coffee taste was not strong enough. Reminds me of the candy kopiko in taste. Texture was good though - slightly sticky like gelato should be.

Black sesame: This is my fav here but today the texture was sandy/floury. Taste was still good - like black ssm filling in tang yuan.

White choc nori is my fav here. Nori is savoury and the flavour was very well balanced with the sweetness of white choc chunks and almonds.

I thought I will like savoury crunch as I like savoury ice creams but this had more crunch and cookie crumbs than ice cream. It was overly salted with no hint of sweetness. Won’t get this again

Ricotta w pistachio bits + Lemon curd w speculoos.

Waffle was fluffy with a slight crisp on the surface. I was expecting crispier waffles based on the reviews though. Lemon curd ice cream was really tangy - reminded me of frozen yogurt but tangier - and sweet. Ricotta was less sweet, maybe very slightly savoury but kinda like vanilla with nuts. The waffle helped to balance the sweetness of the ice cream.

Decent waffles with okay ice cream. Maybe I picked the wrong flavour?

Cone was crisp and very buttery. Cone is the star, not the ice cream. I have tried several flavours and found them to be quite mild like BOP so if you like BOP, you will love their ice cream.

Peanut butter chocolate is my fav here. At first bite, the taste of butter taste was prominent - for pb lovers.

Dark chocolate, blue milk, apiary, ferrero rocher.

Favourite was dark chocolate. The rest were too sweet for me. I used to like blue milk but I find it too sweet and not salty at all today.

Average tasting ice cream. Unlikely to return.

Piemonte Roasted Hazelnut & Milk Chocolate Shavings and Sakura Smoke, Artichoke & Pear Compote.

Hazelnut was not too sweet unlike all the other hazelnut ice cream I’d tasted lol. It was nutty and reminds me of a hazelnut version of their pistachio gelato. The staff recommended this to me as the pistachio was sold out.

Sakura smoke, artichoke & pear compote tasted different to me? It was more milky and less smoky this time. Not sure if it was because the novelty (of having smoked gelato) had faded or it really tasted different but I did not like it this time.

Hazelnut is really good and the staff said this is his favourite.

𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗻 taste like butterscotch with diced pecans. Not bad I guess although the pecans had lost its crunch.

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆’𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 used to be my to-go flavour here but I realised I don’t like this at all now. Not a fan of the chocolate malt flavour and this was quite sweet. I can imagine kiddo me enjoying this though.

Their ice cream are slightly on the sweet side for me but still acceptable. Won’t get these 2 flavours again.

𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶 - nori ice cream studded with white chocolate and almonds. The umami-ness of the nori definitely came through and worked to balance the sweetness of the ice cream (their ice creams are slightly on the sweeter side for me but still acceptable). Sweet, salty, crunchy.

𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲 is a spiced milk gelato with roasted pistachios and almonds. Not a fan of Christmas spices so I didn’t enjoy this.

Will get white choc nori again if I’m here. Ice cream are packed densely so it’s quite worth it for the price.

Double waffle with dark choc sea salt honeycomb and raspberry honeycomb.

Dark chocolate ferrero taste like milo or some cheapo chocolate soft serve - milky and not as chocolately as expected. Waffles were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Honeycombs were meh. The rest of the toppings didn’t look that interesting too ie marshmallow, lotus biscuits, strawberry etc. Didn’t like that I have to pay for toppings I don’t even want.

I’d rather go Creamier for waffles.

This was my to-go flavour here because I find the rest of their flavours to be quite subtle and mild (fans of BoP may like M&M). It used to taste like salted butter + gula melaka but now it tasted like caramel ice cream instead. I asked if they had changed the recipe (they did! 🤬)

The best thing about M&M was their cone because it’s crunchy, buttery and savoury. However, I also thought it tasted less savoury (less yummy to me) than before?! Anyway, this was still better than the cone from BoP.
