Food took a while to come but looked so good and appetizing! Three pork ribs were served on top of pumpkin puree, and served with jalapeño. A small jug of glaze was given. The pork ribs were particularly soft and tender, roasted well, with only a small piece of bone for each rib. The pumpkin puree was very sweet and smooth and creamy. The sauce tasted like coffee and was unique, and went well with the pork ribs.

Portions were quite small but food was delicious. I had the chicken roulade which was grilled chicken thigh stuffed with bacon and cheese. The skin was crispy while the chicken was tender, and the bacon and cheese added more flavor to the chicken dish. It was also served with cream spinach, though it was not very creamy and was more bland than expected. My friend got the truffle pasta which was served with scallops. The pasta flavor was strong in truffle and flavor, texture was good as well.

Super delicious burger, one of the better beef burgers I have had in Singapore. The burger had a thick beef patty that was juicy and flavorful, topped with crispy bacon, cheese, truffle sauce and a sunny side up egg. The whole burger was so flavorful and delicious, with the fragrance from the truffle sauce, cheese slice, and the crunchy salty bacon, and the soft and creamy egg. I really enjoyed it, together with the crispy curly fries on the side. They were generous with the portion of fries as well. Super worth it with burpple beyond!

Set was worth it compared to ordering each item separately. The iced white used a light roast bean and the flavor was fruity. It was slightly sour as well. The koughaman was warmed up but not toasted, hence it wasn’t very crispy or flaky. It was more like a bread which was softer and less flaky, which was also good! Flavor was not too sweet, and was nicely sweet and caramelised.

The first burger that I have tried with a steak in it! I chose medium rare for the steak, which was served in the buns together with cheese, tomatoes and dark yuzu sauce. The steak was decent, but not the best if you are looking to eat steak. The yuzu sauce was interesting; overall flavour was strong and tasty. It also came with curly fries which was really crispy! It remained crispy even after a while. There was also some salad at the side. Worth a try but I prefer the pizzas here.

The dish was served really quickly. There were 3 tacos, with crispy taco shells that tasted like nacho chips, with one piece of fried halibut fish tender in each taco, topped with some mayonnaise and mango salsa. It was overall very flavourful, with many different flavours from the mango, mayonnaise and sauce. The fish itself was fresh and tender and crispy on the outside. There were also fresh curly fries and salad which were all delicious.

Portion was quite generous, and the chili crab given was also very generous! Flavour wise was not too salty and spicy, tasted like tomato-base with some chili, served with pine nuts, which added a crunch to the dish.

This pasta dish was surprisingly tasty, for someone who’s not a fan of pesto! The pesto taste wasn’t too strong, just enough to add flavour to the sauce, along with the smooth creamy mouthfeel which went really well with the mushrooms, zucchini and cherry tomatoes. The lemon juice also gave another flavour to the dish which was a good addition. Smoked salmon was pretty salty but went well with the dish.

Really worth with burpple beyond! The serving was generous, and the bacon cubes as well, with some fresh mushrooms. The creamy truffle sauce was very garlicky, creamy and was fragrant. Sauce was enough for the pasta too.

Overall the dishes weren’t very impressive. The best was probably the dirty Norwegian which was smoked salmon on butter croissant with poached eggs and salted egg sauce which wasn’t very strong in flavor. The cheeseburger was decent, but the aglio olio was very tasteless and bland, it tasted like boiled noodles. The beef in the tomyum pasta was very tough, though the tomyum gravy was not bad, but i felt like i was eating a tomyum noodle soup. Mushroom soup came with the burpple set and was a saving grace for the meal, and total bill for 4 was $61.5, which honestly could have been spent getting quality food at other restaurants.

Coffee was fragrant, and brown rice flavour was there. Decent cup of coffee though it was too sweet.

The salmon pasta dish was pretty unique as it was cold and a light yet savoury and interesting dish. There were few pieces of smoked salmon which went really well with the pasta due to the balance in saltiness. Pasta’s texture was also good. The parmesan risotto was also good, but more ordinary. Good that the risotto texture was not hard or too soft and soggy, texture was just right. Taste was creamy and there was some pesto / herb sauce drizzled over which gave it more flavour as well. Worth a try with burpple beyond!
