Curated Chinese
Choosing limbo fish today! It is a good pairing with the green pepper. I personally think the “numb” and “spice” for the green pepper is tolerable for a novice in eating spicy food like me. However, the soup feels too salty for my liking, so I always eat the fist with rice, to moderate the saltiness.
1 limbo fish is suitable for 2-3 people.
So far Paradise’s lamian never disappointed me. The lamian is chewy, topped with slice pork, steamed bokchoy, mushroom and brown egg. The best part is the soup, which is the light yet rich in flavour tonkotsu broth. It feels light and satisfying after eating this Chinese delicacy
The menu selection ranges from local favourites, western, chinese, and italian.
Ordered teriyaki fuyung egg with angus sirloin and it comes with 2 side dishes of the day (curry puffs & small green veggie). The portion is quite big; however, the combination is a little bit random, especially the curry puff (looks like samosa). The teriyaki fuyung egg is okay; the angus sirloin is quite nice.
Overall taste is okay; however the service is slow.
[Burpple Eatup] An exclusive dish available only in Suntec branch. For those who loves that numbing sensation - this is definitely for you! The beehoon is soft and smooth yet spicy; combined with fresh seafood. Really love the prawn, cuttlefish chunk was a bit too big for me so probably can cut into smaller piece.
BEST DISH! Eat it while warm with a bowl of rice! The tofu skin is tasty while the inside will melt in your mouth.
It’s too salty for me. The rice has shoyu taste, with some mozarella cheese. Would be overwhelmingly salty if you choose the original sauce for the grilled fish. Would recommend white rice instead.
