Sweet Tooth

Got their mixed soft serve (matcha and vanilla) and it’s not bad for the price. As it is a soft serve, it melts very quickly. Fortunately, they provided spoons so you can eat the soft serve so it won’t be too messy. Soft serve tastes creamy. Matcha taste can afford to be stronger as the vanilla tastes slightly more overpowering. Waiting time here is pretty decent, not too long. Rating: 3.5/5.

If you are not a fan of matcha lattes because you are afraid of bitterness, this would be perfect for you. The hojicha syrup adds sweetness to the drink. Matcha + hojicha gives you the best of both worlds! The only bad thing about this is that there’s really a long queue you’re restricted to 1 hour of dining, so you can’t really chill there.

Got the matcha cruffin at $5. Heated it up in the air fryer and the matcha inside oozed out nicely. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy this! $5 for this might be a little pricey for its size, but it’s good to get this once in a while.

Finally managed to get the earl grey toast! The toast is filled with a generous portion of earl grey spread and butter. The earl grey taste is really prominent. The toast should be eaten immediately to enjoy its crispiness. Friendly staff!

Mei Heong Yuen Dessert is a place which serves a variety of traditional desserts, such as sesame paste, traditional puddings, Cheng ting etc. One of their popular items are bowls of snow ice. I tried the milk tea snow ice because #bubbleteaaddict and I love it!! The milk tea taste is really on point. Very flavourful. This is good for sharing and the price is so affordable too.

Fluffy waffles with hazelnut ice cream that is light and not too sickeningly sweet. They have very friendly staff who really made my day! Be prepared to wait though on a Friday night as there are many customers.

The lychee martini cheesecake is a highly recommended dessert. It has chunks of lychee bits in it. The texture of the cheesecake is pretty creamy, somewhat between a cheesecake and a pudding, as it is a no-bake cheesecake. The flavours complement one another very well, and it is light and not too jelak.

Got the small size and we are allowed to choose 2 toppings. Chose the speculoos lotus biscuit sauce with KitKat balls and the overall combination is really nice. Caution though, the ice cream melts really fast.

This is such a good soft serve!! It is very flavourful and not too sweet. The toppings of crumbs and flakes complement the ice cream so well!! Sad to say, the store will be closing on 31st Dec 2019. The staff were very nice and friendly as well. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Got a box of 4 of mixed flavours. I really like the milk chocolate one! The earl grey lavender one is good too! Plain vanilla really has very interesting flavours and nice toppings. The buttercream can be a pretty sweet, so their cupcakes are more suitable for people with very sweet tooth. Will definitely go back to try other flavours!

We ordered a variety of desserts but this was the best!! It is priced at $13.90, which is pretty reasonable for a dessert at a restaurant. It is a mix of saltiness, sweetness and savoury touch, and these flavours complement one another very well. Highly recommend this dessert!! Staff was nice too and the seats are quite spacious.

Ordered this at $8.90 because they ran out of chocolates to make normal ice blended chocolate (the irony haha). It is pretty milky, so get the normal chocolate one if you do not like the milky taste.
