Interesting take on the cordon Bleu with the tomato based Hainanese pork chop sauce; pork was fried well, crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. However, the dish could do with some more carbs like a potato or rice side dish to make it more complete.

Back here at red pan and once again very impressed with their food. Their chilli crab pasta was served with a whole soft shell crab, really generous and satisfying!

I have slight mixed feelings about this dish. While I loved that it was a brave take on fusion food, I found that the ramen was a bit soggy from the buah keluak sauce which did not combine with the noodles as well as I would’ve liked. Pork balls tasted like they came out from the fridge as well. Nevertheless, still a great and innovative fusion dish and worth a try!

Loved the unagi coleslaw which was creamy and bursting with umami. The tobiko flakes added a nice dimension and I had fun bursting the tobiko roe in my mouth.

Quite liked the unagi sauce drizzled over the wings, which were crispy and spicy with a strangely similar taste to the frozen wings I get from the supermarket.

but not really? Homemade pasta was soft and fresh! Loved the cream in this dish and the generous servings of pork belly. The pickled onions added a nice twang and refreshed my palate from the creaminess of the carbonara sauce.

Loved the marinara here, with a tangy sauce that I could smother myself in. Pasta was soft and the sauce clung unto it relentlessly in a good way. The colossal meatball placed in the center had a Asian taste to it with water chestnuts added for an extra crunch. Delicious and felt really happy after eating this!

Infused in a coconut and a tomato marinade, the beef short ribs had a soft bite to it. It went well with the papaya salad that was piled on top!
