Halo-Halo is actually tagalog for "mixed" and it consists essentially of crushed ice, evaporated milk, as well as a variety of toppings such as jackfruit, mung beans, red beans, purple yam paste, coconut gelatin, corn and sago. The dessert is also topped with a scoop of purple yam ice cream and vanilla wafer. .

The ice was rather coarse, and there was still a big chunk of it left behind after we were done with the dessert. I think we were supposed to mix it all up before consuming but we wanted to taste each component separately as it was our first try at the dessert and didn't really know what we were eating😅

The Ensaymada was essentially a brioche bun that was covered in buttercream and topped with strings of cheese. I'm not sure if the buttercream is supposed to be infused with Ube though; couldn't really detect any if thats the case haha😅 I was pleasantly surprised by the purple yam paste in the bun, though I wished there was more of it😅 The sweet-savoury combination worked really well for me and I loved how the bun was dense and chewy. It was a tad dry though, perhaps from being left out on the shelf for a period of time?🤔

I must say i was quite disappointed though. The vanilla icecream wasn't creamy and milky enough, and melted super fast. I think its visible from the picture, but the ube coating was also not as thick as I had expected it to be.Even the chocolate coating for the choco cone seemed to be sadly thin. Contrasting this to Mcdonalds' Mcdips, i think i'd head over to Macs instead the next time 😅

However, my chicken was disappointingly dry and wasn't very flavourful either 😩 In my opinion, the last time I had Jollibee in singapore, it tasted better than this though not mindblowingly good 😩 The only thing that I could do to salvage it was to dunk it in the brown peppery gravy that's given on the side, like those usually served with mashed potatoes. 😅 The spaghetti was okay i guess, a little mushy but tasted not bad.

Don't know if its because I'm unlucky though, because one of my friend claimed that her chicken was good; juicy and not dry at all. But in that case I guess more has to be done to ensure quality consistency then😶 Thinking if I should give it another try 🤔

Hence, I was clearly baffled upon receiving my cone as it seemed just like any other milk ice cream.😅 Glad to say that the ice cream exceeded my expectations though 😊 It really did taste distinctly of the white rabbit sweet that i was so fond of as a child! They were also really generous with portion. The charcoal And swirls were huge 😛 The price is only P80 for a plain cone, and P95 with your choice of 1 topping, which comes up to only about $2-$2.50 !

The charcoal cone was really crisp, but had a rather cardboard-y taste to it which I didn't really fancy. Another gripe would be that their menu showed the topping of "matcha" in powder form, but it actually came in the form of matcha condense drizzled onto the ice cream. Not something I would place alot of significance in though, because I still really enjoyed my ice cream😊😋

Went for the 30% sugar level and I think that was just right for me. The milk tea wasn't as thick and milky as I had expected and was a little diluted i feel(?) despite asking for less ice but i enjoyed the distinct green tea fragrance in the drink. If you love taro, you will also enjoy slurping up the chunks of taro bits given in the drink; which also meant that its a very filling drink 😹

The beef slices, while requiring more of a chew, were sufficiently juicy and nicely seasoned without being overly salty. I also loved the slices of onions which made the entire dish more flavourful 😋

There was also cream cheese in the centre😍. I think this makes for a very good light teatime snack! Though not the cheapest, its still affordable and worth the price in my opinion😊

The Matcha Mcdip is essentially a vanilla cone dipped in matcha-chocolate sauce. Its sweet with a subtle earthy aftertaste. The taste kinda reminded me of matcha kitkats!
The cone seemed rather yellowish as compared to the ones in Singapore 🤔 Didn't taste any different, but was super soggy, or perhaps I was just unlucky to get a bad cone 😅😭 Totally wouldn't mind having the mcdips again though. @mcdsg please make them available in Singapore!!

The softserve definitely did not disappoint with the distinct cheesiness which paired well with the topping of caramel sauce. The generous swirl of softserve was garnished with a piece chocolate bearing the cafe's name. Nothing special though, tasted just like some cheap chocolate coin.

I think its essentially the same as the hanjuku cheesecake that i tried from the same shop previously, the difference being that there's a layer of biscuit crumbles at the bottom. However, i felt that the layer failed to meet expectations because it was just a very thin layer which was soft and wasn't crumbly as promised 🙁

Also, I reckon that it would have been better to have it warmed up before consumption to be able to enjoy the gooey cheesey satisfaction!
