I’ve been eating popiah from My Cosy Corner for about 6 years now since I moved into the area. The popiah ($2.50) here is a fan favourite and it’s not hard to see why. The chewy popiah skin is lashed with fiery Nonya sambal and garlic, then topped with bungkwang (chinese turnip), crumbled egg and crispy rice. Every order is made fresh, so my advice if you’re taking this away, is to make a beeline here to place your order, then run your errands around the shopping centre - you know, groceries from NTUC, pet supplies from Pet Lovers etc. Then return to collect.
