An old school 2 level restaurant which looked quiet on the outside but it’s super crowded inside that serves tonkatsu (breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet served with shredded cabbage) which is highly rated by locals. The meat were really crispy, melty tender and juicy. It’s also comes with miso soup and unlimited cabbage and rice refill. The portion was huge and we left with a exploding belly 》 ¥1500

Shiromaru Motoaji is Ippudo’s original tonkotsu ramen since their inception. The rich and fragrant tonkotsu broth is cooked for over 18 hours and then left to ‘mature’ for 24 hours to extract the pleasant, savoury taste of pork. Served with homemade Hakata-style thin and straight noodles which match with the broth perfectly 》¥1020
Special blended miso paste and fragrant oil bring harmony and depth to the flavour to this bowl of ramen. The homemade medium-thick noodles have a springy and chewy texture. While Shiromaru is described as a classic Hakata-style ramen, Akamaru is known as the modern-style ramen which shows the versatile possibility for tonkotsu ramen 》¥1080

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
