Restaurant Hopping
I'm back for more of their sumptuous sandwiches after trying their Milano House Breakfast set ($5.80 nett) yesterday.
For today's dinner, I had Singapore Deli Roast Pork Belly Sandwich $8.80 nett , traditional Italian coleslaw $3.90 nett and latte $3.60 nett .
Their sandwiches were baked to perfect crispness, with well seasoned bacon/roast pork belly.
I must also mention their friendly and well-mannered staff. I really appreciate their great service!
The mushroom soup $3.50++ was as tasty as always. The salmon Thai linguine $12.50++ was very flavorful! Love the texture of the linguine.
Cheeky chicken enchiladas ($14++) stuffed generously with shredded chicken and enchiladas sauce, a unique tasting dish.
Prawns fajitas ($26++) seasoned and sautéed with rich seasoning, served with guacamole, sour cream and flour tortillas. The prawns were very fresh and springy. A very tasty dish 👍
Beef stew ($19++) was soft and flavourful and the accompanying tomato rice was very good too.
Empanadas ($7++) tasted like apple cinnamon strudel but in deep fried popiah skin.

We enjoyed delicacies from this restaurant so so much! Every dish was well-seasoned and tasted so unique and tasty. I was particularly impressed by the appleton chocolate mousse. We are so grateful to Eatigo to grant us the chance to enjoy this wonderful meal with 50% discount !
Cod fish $18++ was so so yummy! It was charred on the outside but yet so tender on the inside. The glass noodle fried with garlic and lemon complemented the cod fish perfectly !👍
Babi toast (minced pork on bread, deep fried $7++) so-so, nothing to shout about.
Gula melaka shake $8++ which tasted like chendol, was way too too too sweet!!! 🤔...Gula melaka very cheap is it?
Beef bourguignon $20.90++ (French beef stew) was really flavourful. My DD enjoyed it so much that she rated it 10/10.
Unfortunately the Lemon capellini with miso chicken $17.90++ was tasteless, a total let-down.
Top up $3++ for soup & tea OR chicken miso salad & tea (cold/hot)
Don't miss out their Dai Man Zoku (DMZ) sushi ! At $1.90++ per piece, it's definitely good value for money! Especially love their Jumbo Ebi Fry DMZ , Seared Beef DMZ and Eel & Cheese Roll DMZ . Avoid the Seared Fluke Fin DMZ though... it was so fishy that I couldn't even stand the smell of it. Left it untouched.
The vegetable croquette $2.30++ and mini ice-cream puffs $2.80++ were good too.
Korean temple food $13+ -- nutritious, refreshing and tasty. I liked the grilled eggplant especially, very well seasoned. The rice was too moist this time round. It's texture would be better if cooked with less water.
I really love having this particular dish at this cafe. The food and ambience always gives me a soothing and calm feeling. Recommend!
1/4 chicken with 2 sides $13.90+
The 'luo shen' prawn $16+ was too sweet. The luo shen 洛神 taste was overpowering.
Dried shrimp with French bean $12+ was overpriced with the quantity served.
Ancho beef chimichanga with added guacamole $12nett was not as crispy as anticipated.
Salt pork tinga bowl $12nett was ok.
I like the cozy ambience though. Service staff was friendly. Might come back for their Mexico made coca-cola.
This time round tried their prawn salad with oriental sauce and crab salad with honey mustard sauce. They were disappointment... prawn salad was too spicy for me and the crab salad was too bland! Should have sticked to their satay sauce chicken salad.
