If you’re a fellow westie you would have heard of this place at Pandan gardens area! I ordered the $6 signature bee Tai mak but there’s another $5 version too! It may look plain but it’s not! Mix with their special sauce and pork lard, it’s very tasty! There’s also an accompanying soup with handmade fishballs, meatballs etc!! DONT POUR THE SOUP IN!
Was caught by surprise by how creamy the gelato here is! Slightly sweet and with a generous amount of wolfberries, this is one interesting taste I’ve never had before! Would highly recommend this flavour, alongside Houjicha and black sesame- both which are pretty intense.
One cannot simply say no to this gorgeous classic cake! Loved the crumbly and slightly salty biscuits base! A plus point is also that it isn’t too sweet.
If you’re a fan of durian you’d love this! The durian enclosed within this chocolate dome smells so pungent you would think they just opened the durians today! Of a creamy and smooth consistency, it’s certainly one for fans of durians!
The mentaiko is definitely worth a mention too with it being strong tasting and yet not overpowering, complementing the chicken thigh to a T! 🎈
