Textbook perfect medium rare steak, topped off with the yummiest mushroom gravy that got me scraping the bottom of the saucer for more! Needless to say, the steak was delightful.
However, the downsides were that the fries felt a little stale/undercooked and the eggs werenât particularly amazing.
Would I pay the full amount for this meal? Probably not. (Not to discredit The Marmalade Pantry â theyâve got better dishes) But it was definitely value for money with the Burpple 1-for-1!

I'm not one who usually orders tiramisu for dessert since how good can something that looks so plain get? But oh let me tell you the tiramisu here was goood. I would have this again in a heartbeat.
For squid ink pasta as yummy as this, I wouldn't mind scaring my date with teeth black as tar. Too bad there was so little of that yummy squid ink to go around since it just thinly coated the pasta strands without any extra to mop up with bread.
My fav pasta place does it again!!! The fresh made pasta was cooked perfectly still holding a slight resistance when I bit into it. Also came with fresh prawns and scallops. BUT the hero of this dish was the sauce I would buy the sauce in a bottle and drink it if I could. The saffron smell hits you first and the sauce is creamy and flavorful and the little green peppercorns provided just a tinge of heat without being too intrusive, coating every strand of pasta. real big OOF
Love this unique dish which has cheese and egg on top of thick toast! Topped off with bacon jam, this makes for a perfect brunch meal.
Had the gashouse eggs ($13) and the french toast ($15), both were delicious! price was very decent and made extremely affordable by the 1 for 1! would definitely come back!
Food was awesome , ambience was great. The ingredients provided was fresh , and they even gave half an avocado! Even the bf was pleasantly surprised at how much he liked it (:
A place that I already wanted to visit even without beyond 1-1! But since I have the 1-1, why not right lol. This sandwich (or rather burger) was realllly good but without the 1-1 it feels a little too pricey. Beyond 1-1 is only available for 4 flavors though - do take note! I wanna be back for the pb&j sandwich!
Used Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 breakfast offer on our order and got the PBJ as the free Breakfast dish. PSA: Breakfast sandwiches are served all day on weekends. Hooray!
The PBJ comprises crunchy peanut butter, mixed berry jam sandwiched with cornflake crusted milk & chocolate bread. I think this is the only sweet option out of all the savoury sandwiches, so we thought it would be perfect as the âdessertâ dish after two savoury sandwiches. It was indeed.
Another sandwich that was served freshly made and hot to the touch. Pulling apart the two halves revealed a generous layer of melted peanut butter slathered on the bread. How good does that look?! Melted peanut butter is already 10000 times better than non-gooey peanut butter, so that alone garnered tons of points in my books.
Park Bench Deli has a strict policy for no-customisation on their sandwiches as they take pride in their combinations. Now, normally I hate having jam (Iâm more of a PB, Nutella, Chocolate sandwich person), and I would have requested for them to put it on the side, but I had to suck it up and eat the sandwich as it was due to that policy - and Iâm thankful for it. The mixed berry jam was slightly sweet and tangy, adding an extra dimension to the savoury peanut butter, and the chocolatey bread. Without it, the PB sandwich might have quickly become too âboringâ and jelak. What I really loved about this sandwich was the bread. I think itâs super creative to crust the bread with cornflakes, as it added a very satisfying crunchy texture to the PBJ sandwich. The milk chocolate bread was also delightfully soft, and gave easily. As much as I loved this sandwich, Iâd recommend coming with a friend and sharing this sandwich and a savoury sandwich, because itâs pretty impossible to finish this on your own unless you have an insatiable sweet tooth.
Went for the 7 course menu ($78++) with mostly hits and some misses. Overall quite a good experience, watching the chef cook and prepare the meal infront of you if you have the counter seats. took approx 2hours for the meal. place is packed on Sunday night.
From my first encounter with @waacowsg at NUS Shaw Foundation Alumni House (shifted to Utown), this dining establishment has successfully grew out from their comfort zone, opening their branches at Raffles Xchange & even Marina One.

With high hopes for @waacowsg, I was disheartened by the gyudon they served. The wagyu sukiyaki slices were really tough and taxing to the jaw. Flavour-wise, it was pretty acceptable though nothing fantastic. I guess the main highlight of the meal was actually the plump and fresh oysters, which made me smile from ear to ear after slurping them down đ.
