What is so unique and alluring about this lava cake is the huge dollop of whipped coconut cream lying atop the cake. The decadent sweetness of the cream is wonderfully jutaxposed with the bitterness of the dark chocolate.

Velvety, rich and luscious, it was akin to a warm embrace. Maraschino cherries adorn the plate which helped to counterbalance the rich chocolate from being overly sweet.

We tried the Ferrero Rocher and Earl Grey Lavender soft serve, and preferred the Earl Grey Lavender as it had an aromatic flavour and is not too cloying. The Ferrero Rocher paled in comparison as it was only slightly nutty and lacked the chocolatey flavour. It somehow felt like it was mixed with some other flavour - my tastebuds felt pretty confused after that 😂 I tried the dark chocolate on my last visit and it was definitely much more luscious and rich!

Other that that, we felt that the texture of the soft serve was pretty good - albeit it melted pretty quickly which is probably attributed to the crazy weather 😁 I have to say that the fluffy toasted waffles were the star of the dessert, would recommend getting two waffles to soak up all that milky soft serve goodness!

Overall, it was a delectable treat. Definitely a must-visit if you are in the West!
