Here you have a choice of 3 types of boat noodles - beef, chicken and tom yam prawn noodle, all at a great deal of RM1.90 each. Yes, the portions are tiny but that just means you can order more of everything to try! For the beef and chicken noodles, there are 2 soup bases to choose from - Amphawa (sour and spicy) and Rangsit (clear herbal). The Amphawa soup base was a tad too heavy and overpowering, and we preferred the clearer Rangsit soup base instead. The tom yam prawn noodles also had a good kick to it! Come with friends and order more varieties to share!
A lesser known counterpart to the famous IT Roo chicken chop, this Hainanese dish deserves a shoutout of its own! The chicken came piping hot and just the way it should be - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was paired with potato wedges, peas and cherry tomato (all of which were overshadowed by the chicken). Definitely worth a try when you’re in the area!
