āØ I knew I had to get a bƶrek upon being hit by wafts of fragrant pastry and the sight of passers-by delightfully sinking their teeth into the white packages of deliciousness. I sure didn't make a mistake by trusting my foodie intuition (and internet recommendations š
). These Turkish pastries were incredibly crisp, flaky and comforting. Apart from the two pictured, a wide assortment of differently filled bƶreks was also available. Among the two I tried, I prefer the spinach bƶrek for its crisper shell and addictive cheese filling. ā£

š¬ Make sure to enjoy the guys while their still warm and fresh-- they get a tad soggy when cold.
