Cafe Hopping

Here's a beautifully spacious cafe I would love to do my work/ study at - @WalkingOnSunshine.Cafe. Garden-themed, it is dressed in various dried flowers and real plants, and offered a very relaxing ambience as soon as we stepped in.

He had the signature Striploin Steak 🥩 (S$21.50+) which was quite tender, while I had the Salmon Aglio Olio (S$21.50+). The pasta 🍝, served with a generous piece of salmon, was overall very flavourful - with lots of garlic and onions. Love it! The lusciously rich Avocado Shake 🥑 (S$8.50) was a perfect quencher too, after a long day out. 👍

I really loved the fresh avos with crispy sourdough rye toast in this brunch! I had my eggs scrambled, while he had his onsen. For those who know me, this brunch choice was really so "me".😜

Treated myself this morning to @PAULbakerysg breakfast set - the Chausson Aux Pommes (golden brown apple turnover) paired with the perfect latte - to perk up my morning. Definitely makes starting work easier! 😊

At $5.90 per set - you get to choose from their TOP 6 pastries together with your choice of hot drink.

Loved how this linguine was served with a really generous serving of smoked salmon! Lots of fresh lemon was also squeezed into the cream-based sauce, and thank goodness for that - otherwise it may have become too "jerlat" (or too filling).

Brunch food. Just give me anything with avocado and/or egg, and I will take it. My kinda food any time, though best enjoyed slowly on a weekend. 😜

The weekend calls for a nice meal to relax! Enjoy a slow brunch and pamper the tresses. Good combination though I wish the waffles were served crispier and warmer.

Located at the 3rd floor of @OrchardCentral, WOSC is a one-stop garden-themed dining cum beauty concept. The café offers Western-Korean fusion dishes and one of our favourite items on its new brunch menu is this fluffy soufflé pancake! Topped with various fruits, nuts, maple honey and whipped cream, it definitely tasted as good as it looks. 😍

WOSC at @OrchardCentral recently revamped its brunch menu and this was one salmon eggs benedict served differently.
.
I expected this dish to include the usual poached eggs, but what greeted me instead were some fresh salad veggies sitting on a bed of eggs, diced cured salmon and roasted capsicums. As the cured salmon was a little on the salty side, the warm english muffin-bread was a wonderful complement to the dish.

Recently chanced upon a whimsical garden-themed cafe at Orchard Central. Will share more but for now, here's one of their signature drinks. Very refreshing after a warm day out shopping and I really liked how well the rich creamy nutty flavours of coconut milk complemented the coffee.
