First Meal on Burpple Beyond unlocked 🔓🎉 with my favourite person🧡! $9.45 nett after 1-1, it’s a steal (especially in CBD area😆) for a warm, tummy satisfying seared salmon Mentaiko bowl served with Japanese rice.

We were happy with our cream-based and tomato-based pasta. 2 different flavours, both tasty in its ways.
Particularly enjoyed this al dente pasta Salsa Tatufata e Porcini, delicious creamy truffle sauce with minced meat, porcini mushroom and parmesan.
Their meatballs were big, juicy and tasty too, great to go with the pasta. A good place to chill over pasta and maybe a beer.

With set menu going from $49.90 for 2 pax and a tantalising collection of ala carte dishes here at @City_hot_pot, this modern dining steamboat restaurant at One Raffles Place sure left our tummies satisfied!

Expect premium and quality cuts of meats with rich original broths that won’t leave you thirsty, selection includes: Chicken, Fish Soup w/ Milk, Sichuan Spicy, Thai Tom Yam, Tomato, Vegetable, Korean Kimchi, Laksa, Bak Ku Teh, Spicy Prawn and Herbal Chicken and more! $1 top-up for double flavour.

Their Braised Pork Rice (+$1) also leave up to expectations with legit melts-in-your-mouth pork belly fats in a umami sauce. I seldom order rice during hotpot but for this? No regrets. Each customer also has their own hotpot, which is great if you happen to go in a bigger group as you can share every single broth possible! Definitely suitable for individuals and large gatherings.

Rookery has unveiled new dishes as part of their menu refresh under Chef Sebastian See.

I love the wagyu, even though the rump isn't usually my favourite part of the beef. That's because Chef Sebastian has seared it such that it was slightly charred, salted and crisp outside, yet retaining all the beefy juices of the Westholme wagyu within.

You must also order the roast pork, which he R&D for 3 months before rolling it out. I'll share with you soon!

Definitely get the $28 roll and not the $18 one (even if it’s 1 for 1). The quality and taste of it makes it a definite value for money (it’s better than other lobster rolls in Singapore and the US!!!!).

We had the premium wagyu beef platter and the pork short ribs. The wagyu beef melts in your mouth and it is pure perfection. The aburiya salad is a wonderful surprise and has a balanced blend of lightness and juiciness. We are from the US and regret that we do not have a place like this back at home! A must try for anyone! We will be back! In fact- we ate at the Robertson one first before coming to the Boat Quay location. We prefer this location versus the other- only because of the ambiance within the restaurant. Both had great service and food!
