We intended to try wild honey but the queue was crazy so ended up at Antoinette! The ambience feels like a quaint English tea house! We had French toast and pancakes, which were both awesome. The portions were quite big so we didn’t have stomach for the cakes which looked amazing. Will be back!
I rarely patronise Swensens these days but decided to give it a try on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately many dishes were sold out. I chose the Oriental Chilli Fish Pasta, and was pleasantly surprised. It was well seasoned and tasty. The soup of the day was awesome too.
And no Swensen meal is complete without ice cream! We tried the 2 new flavours: salted butterscotch and floral honey. A tad too sweet but they were both very yummy. Brought back great memories of my childhood.
Trying to use up our entertainer deals in the last few days of 2018. We had brunch at Carpenter and Cook, which is located near beauty world MRT. Both the Croque Monsieur and Egg Benedict get very “Jelak” after a while. Wasn’t very impressed with the brunch, but the passionfruit mango banana smoothie was really nice. Not sure if I will be back for brunch again...
Saw a really good deal on Chope: 50% off if you dine during off peak hours. We had 2 crabs, sweet and sour fish, pork ribs, spinach with eggs and Logan with coconut. Value for money and really good service as well!
Saturday brunch at Bishan Park Grub. That Har Cheong Gai was heavenly! Crispy and sinful batter, and extremely juicy chicken...
