The protein for this salad was the Roasted Mango Chicken, which came in the form of flakes, like tuna, instead of the larger pieces of chicken I was expecting. Don't know if its because I had it as a takeaway and by the time I consumed it it was also rather dry š¤ The amount of protein given wasn't very generous either, unlike my previous order of the Taj Mahal.
Staff was really friendly though, accomodating to my demands for a switch of the carrots and cherry tomatoes to broccoli and edamames, and even bothered asking if I was alright with the original dressing of wasabi mayo and if I wanted a switch.
I really like how they don't skimp of their portions of meat in their salads. The tandoori chicken was super flavourful, albeit a tad dry. Went really well with the mint yoghurt dressing too, which balanced out the spice in the chicken really well.
I also like how versatile and customisable your order can be! Personally not really a fan of cherry tomatoes and onions and so I swapped them out for broccoli and mushrooms.
They are slightly on the pricier side but pro tip is to use eatigo to book for up to 50% off and yes the discount is available for takeaways too!
This salad served as a nice appetiser, with a tangy and refreshing taste which opens up your appetite. I liked the addition of the shreds of nori! However, the salad dressing was a little too thick and overwhelming, so the taste of the salad was rather one dimensional
