3.75⭐ First time eating Latin America food. We utilised the HSBC entertainer deal 1 for 1 which is restricted to the main course only. Ordered 4 mains for sharing and adds on 2 garlic rice. The Arroz is similar to paella and we loves the flavourful rice. The Sopa De Tortilla is a chicken stew dish but it's not spicy. There are crispy tortilla added which is akin to eating cracker. As for the Mejillon Negra which is mussel cooked with white wine, we should have added on baguette for dipping the broth. The Feijoada which is the pork stew is our least favourite bcos the taste is unfamiliar. I prefer the sausage to the pork in the stew, sadly there are only few pieces in the stew. We loves the garlic fried rice, it's so fragrant that I don't mind just eating it alone.

4⭐ Alegria actually means happiness in Spanish. Decided to try something different and Alegria serves Latin America food. I ordered the grilled octopus and WB had grilled chicken breast. Serving took quite a while, at least 30min. The portion looks small for guys but since WB had a very full lunch, he find the portion just right for him. I like the octopus as it's grilled just right. WB also likes the chicken breast which is quite tender. We also ordered churros for a sweet ending. Price wise is reasonable after Amex 50% discount.

I'm amazed that there's 7 choices of Mojito and end up I had the Classic Mojito, definitely wouldn't go wrong with classic. I opt for lychee infusion and it's quite light, the mojito at Cuba Libre ain't as sweet as those I had before. The mojito came in a huge glass, twice the size of normal mojito. As for food wise, I had the Ropa Vieja which is stewed pulled beef with black bean and rice. This is one of Cuba national dish and is delicious. The pull beef is tender and goes well with the brown rice served. Ended the meal with churros which is served hot.

It was full house and luckily I made reservation in advance. We waited v long for our order and I guessed they must have forgotten our order, the food came shortly after I asked them about our order. We had Korean pork belly and Chimichurri chicken tacos, both of us preferred the pork belly tacos. 1/2 ⭐ deducted for the long wait.
