Western

Innovative fusion of asian sauces and western food. The sauce is fragrant, the kick from the white pepper reminds me (in a good way!) of the white peppery bak ku teh. Portion is also generous. The mashed potato is a little to salty for me. I’d suggest choosing sides that are a little lighter, such as the salad/veg/rice, to balance the flavours of the chicken and sauce.

I found the Ribs so savoury that it is on the brink of being salty. The flavour is very strong, and I much prefer the simple bagel with ala carte cream cheese spread ($5 for scallion cream cheese, $2 for additional topping).

The corn chowder is nice - with bits of corn and the smokiness from the bacon.
