We saw people happily eating Tom yum noodle, so we went in search of the stall (there were only two such stalls). Luckily we got the correct one! For a bowl worth 50baht, there were quite alot of ingredients: fried wanton with fillings! Squid, prawn, chicken slices and tofu! All items for ~s$0.60 each! It is interesting how salted egg is so widely used in all the dishes. But I felt the range of dimsum was quite limited, with only steamed items, of which the ingredients were more or less the same = prawn paste. Also, it was my first time having herbal bakkutteh! And I actually like this the best! 🤩 Even though we bought ZERO non-food items here (kinda disappointing when it was supposed to be the better night market for shopping). But we bought the MOST food items here! Because the food station was like a food court, super clean, with a second floor with proper table and chair and with fans for comfortable eating! 👍 Food here is also bought using a top-up card, v convenient for tourists who can't count money fast haha! We had the banana roti, chicken satay, green milk tea, mango sticky rice (69 baht) and coconut ice cream (55baht). (Because bf wanted his mango sticky rice, and I wanted my coconut ice cream. We only realised, after we have ordered and sat down, that the stall had actually closed at 1130am (we were there at around 12.15pm)! Such good service to ask the chef out to cook this bowl for us (although there was still a family of 3 finishing their food, and another local came after us to takeaway a few packets).
