Saw another table eating this and it looked really good. Can't remember the stall number but it was run by an elderly couple selling fried bee hoon and fried kway teow. Really simple ingredients, but big on flavour.

First time eating there. It was crowded even past lunchtime (2pm). The rice was fragrant and the chicken was tender and flavourful. The only shortcoming was the soup, which was incredibly salty.

The portion was super stingy and the laksa gravy was neither rich nor fragrant. A very flat, thin soup with a skimpy smattering of noodles and beansprouts. It's a boo from me.

My favourite soon kueh. Can't resist buying a box whenever I pass by. The glutinous skin is thin and chewy, and the shredded carrots and turnip inside are incredibly tasty. Shown here drizzled with sweet black sauce on the left, and plain on the right.

Hard to believe it's all vegetarian/ mock meat right? I opted for the curry vegetables, tofu and stirfried potato slices. I also got the bee hoon and was so amazed by the enormous portion! They're really generous. It could have been tastier, but overall not a bad option if you're eating in Kovan and feeling really hungry.

Not the biggest fan of oysters, but the ones here were large and fairly fresh. Portion could be more generous. I liked the crispy egg bits!

Nice warm broth on this rainy day. I like that they mix bee hoon and yellow noodles. The broth is very tasty, with a subtle spiciness that is not evident at first but sneakily tickles your throat when you are least expecting it.

Got this 1-for-1 as part of a DBS/POSB deal. Was really simple, but tasted like an upgraded Indomee. The sunny side up egg and veggies were nice, but the chicken was cold and tough.
