SG Pride!

So I did a search online for this local dish that's seemingly vanishing from many food places, and decided to give the stall here a try. I had my Thunder Tea Brown Rice ($5.50, same for white) in the evening and the soup, which was neither too strong nor tasteless, was warm. Would've loved if the rice and ingredients were hot or at least warm though.

Despite being lukewarm, the taste and quality of the dish was not compromised. After trying the soup by itself (yum!), I drenched the rice in it and began relishing every bit of it. Earlier on, I caught an angmoh doing the very same thing! So heartwarming to see them enjoying a dish which is of acquired taste among locals.. heh.

Man, how do I start? This plate of megawesome goodness is the only sauce-drenched dish I'd crave -alil too frequently maybe- for, and leaves me wanting more when it's gone too soon..

The Chap Chye is a must, double it up maybe? Had their Ngoh Hiang as well, which was still crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Make sure to say YESSS when they ask you if you'd like all 3 sauces! Missin' the whole point of popping by this place if you don't ;)
