Cafe Brunch Food
Found this hidden gem opposite Bishan-AMK park thanks to Burpple! A small cafe beside a bright coffeeshop, I hesitated whether to go in because it looked a bit dark. But I'm glad I did! The food really impressed me. We ordered the fish & chips and the grass-fed beef flat iron with borderlaise ($23.90) and I found both done better than most cafes. It was a very satisfying meal! The waffle that the next table ordered also smelled great and something I would try the next time. Will be back and since they are on Burpple Beyond, give them a try!
A nice, smooth cup of coffee at this new joint! I also got the Miso Butter Sweet Potato Sando ($5.50) - I must say I love their bread! It's toasted yet soft and has a nice bite to it. I'll be back to try their other sandos, and of course for another cuppa!
Go before 31 Dec to get $2 off your final bill.
Christmas may be over, but I'm glad Columbus has this on their menu for days I crave a good peppermint hot chocolate. Their version is one of my current favourites - the peppermint and chocolate balance was great and the little marshmallows make the experience so much more enjoyable š
Would definitely order this again. A simple salad done well - satisfying! š
Never had saybons before, and this first experience was definitely positive! Shared the tomato salmon risotto and a salad with a friend. Taste-wise this wasn't too heavy or tangy, and I liked that they were generous with the salmon.
Fresh berries, homemade strawberry jam, passionfruit coulis, meringue, whipped cream & chia and sunflower seeds on pancakes = yummm š
Pancakes were done really well, and the size was perfect for a not-too-heavy brunch. Sourness of the berries and jam went wonderfully with the sweetness of the meringue and cream.
