4.5⭐ A favourite among my colleagues & I. The stall opening days are erratic so it really depends on luck for it to be open. Each bowl of noodle or beehoon is served in claypot. There are only 5 to 6 choices to choose from and I have ate almost all except the mee tai mak as I dislike the texture of mee tai mak. Ate the lala beehoon this time and it's filled generously with lala and fried egg. The soup is extremely flavourful with hint of hua diao wine.

4.25⭐ Bought WB to one of the best Kway Chap in SG. Queued at least 15-20min and there's a chit sheet to tick the items which I wanted. I ordered ala carte instead of the set which came up to be more pricy but at least I eat what I prefer. Ordered the pig chitterlings, large intestine head, braised pork belly, braised egg, pig skin and pig tongue. WB like the pig organ soup so I ordered a bowl for sharing. Last had the kway chap at least 5yrs ago and the standard remains. Nothing to shout about the pig organ soup, if not for WB, I wouldn't order.

3.75⭐ Finally visit Maxwell for the Western food. It's always ranked one of the best hawker western food. There was a queue when we reached for dinner and waited for abt 15min. WB ordered chicken cutlet while I ordered chicken chop. The portion is huge and served with fries, bread and mixed vege. I liked the chicken cutlet as the skin is crisp but WB prefer Wild Wild West Chicken cutlet as he find the cutlet slightly dry. The bread is soft and fluffy, I read online that the bread is sourced from a local bakery. I usually don't like such fries as this is those typical hawker/foodcourt western food type of fries and normally not very crsipy. But the fries here are crispy to my liking. Nothing to shout about on the mixed vege, it's just those frozen pack vege.

3.25⭐ I have never eat the famous Kok Kee Wanton Mee before. Since we are nearby so decided to try it. We still prefer Eng Wanton Mee noodle but the char siew and wanton are good. A bit pricey at $5 for a normal portion. It's hard to find the perfect combination for all.

4⭐ Haven't been in office for half a year and went back to swap my laptop for a new one. Craves for carrot cake so end up queuing at the carrot cake stall despite waiting for 20min. I'm in luck cos it's sold out few customer behind me. The black carrot cake is one of the best IMO, I ordered $2.50 and add additional egg. Have tried this version vs ordering $3 carrot cake, the $2.50 portion plus egg is more shiok! 😋

4⭐ One of the top claypot rice in SG and we waited 1hr 15min for this. 😤 I ate once many years ago and the standard remains. There's 2 type of sausages compared to other claypot stalls. The boss told us we can call and order first in the future cos we saw some diners around us didn't wait long after they are seated. 😓

4.5 ⭐ Back at one of SG best prawn mee after 2 years. I had the 3 in 1 combo while WB had the Jumbo prawn noodle. Ordered Fried Ngor Hiang and share among the 4 of us.
