Dim Sum
Ironically their standard dim sum items fared less well with the rice rolls themself a little less silky than id have expected. Good thing those char siew bit within were of the chunkier and more satisfying variety.
Quite standard for red oil dumplings, have had better and have had worse. Probably not their signature item but if you're craving for something meaty, piquant and spicy this does a pretty good job at hitting the spot!
We got a little disinhibited playing with food that day 😅
This one's a hidden find lucky NUS students get to have for breakfast lunch and dinner. Silky sheets of handmade chee cheong fun in a variety of fun flavours. Pun intended. The oozing liu sha bao was pretty awesome too.
Less impressed with their CCF though granted they were pretty generous with the prawns. The skin while silky, lacked the elasticity. I'd skip to save space for the rest of their dishes next time
Nice little parcels filled with flavourful soup encased in a thin elastic skin. The meat could be a little chunkier and well-formed though as it pretty much crumbled once I nicked the skin.
Restaurant standards. Coffee shop setting. Prices somewhere in between the two. This steamed carrot cake is a definite must-try here, trumping even the ones at most high end Chinese restaurants I've tried in terms of wobblinest and softness. Absolutely delicious.
