Sashimi AHHHH

Omote has been THE place to satisfy my chirashi craving. But it was only today that I uncovered this gem - spicy dashi chirashi (not sure if it’s new)

Oh my this was spectacular. For a start, the sashimi were incredibly fresh. No hints of fishy taste (always consistently fresh for all my visits), good amount of fats to meat. Some places have their sashimi way too fatty which causes gelatness. But never omote - I’ll always finish the bowl feeling super satisfied and happy. 😊

The thing that sets apart this bowl from the usual/standard is the seasoning they toss the sashimi in. It’s reminiscent of sesame oil/garlic with spice. The result: a flavourbomb. Umami, spicy yet not overpowering - very well balanced with the sashimi. Drizzled over the fragrant rice makes the rice x10000 better than it already was.

Also, the cuts are super generous - thick and succulent slices of fish. Never skimpy, that’s why I’m a proud returning customer. Very value for money.💰

HANDS DOWN MY FAVOURITE CHIRASHI PLACE. The fish pieces are always really fresh! They are also packed with the adequate level of flavour from their seasoning, without overpowering the taste of the fish. The rice is also very tasty and seasoned, and nicely compliments the fish. Whenever I crave for chirashi, I would always think of sushiro. Definitely worth the queue, and it’s INSANELY WORTH IT for $12.80!!!!!!
