Our airbnb host recommended us this restaurant and it really hit all the right spots. It's located at kerameikos and is usually booked fully. We beat the dinner crowd by coming early (5.30pm) Got my parpadelle with beef and lamb, while my friend got beef loins. Both are delightful. The best was getting the Greek wine (500ml) for $4.5 euros. Fruity and so worth it. It was such a treat.

Wow, for $15 euro for 2 people, you get a breakfast suitable for Queens!!! This spread of Ham and Cheese platter was indulgent, nutritious and extremely filling. We enjoyed the yoghurt spread with ham, and topped with feta cheese (the healthiest cheese). It lasted us well from breakfast till dinner. Breakfast for Greek gods? ;)

Hardworking tavern owner who is so sincere and honest! We got a large serving of apple pie and chocolate croissant for $2.50 each. Worth it :)

This ice cream shop has so many flavours, we were spoilt for choice!! We stuck with Yoghurt Lime and Pistachio and it made for a great break from Greece's sweltering heat. The pistachio was so intense and it came with its nutty chunks. Memorable~~~
