Heard so much about this place that i decided to give it a try: ordered their spicy white beehoon and opted to add on for clams.. but one look at the dish and i noticed that majority of the clams were shut tight. Having been told since young that closed clams are not to be eaten, i was concerned and politely asked the staff about this. they told me that i was supposed to pry it open myself..???! This seemed rather odd to me but instead of further clarifying the matter, the owner just came along, took the plate away and said in a rude tone β€œforget it, we just won’t charge you”. Food was decent but the poor service really turned me off. Definitely not coming back again
