I’ve always love St Marc toasties and this is a new addition. Also love they used whole meal bread for their toastie. The combination of cheese and baked beans is ok for me as my favourite toastie is the peanut butter and butter. Also love the fact that the set is $10 with drink, toastie and a side of banana or chips or chococro. Value for $.
Chef Yohhei Sasaki is making himself known for the wonderful changes he’s done in this small but popular Italian restaurant in the heart of Orchard Road. Though my tasting menu was to be Japanese it was actually the use of Japanese ingredients in Italian dishes. Overall experience - Super yummy.
It’s my first visit here and was recommended to have the 6 course dinner. It was really good. The Chef will come to explain each dish. Before you order you will have to inform the server what are the ingredients you won’t have from the list they provide. Then the magic begins. Course after course your taste buds are bombarded with great taste, smell and finishing. Really yummy yum yum!
This is like a deconstructed dacquoise and ganache with brown butter ice cream with peanut as its star. Each ingredient is good on its own but the overall combination is enlightening. A worthy dessert.
It’s a combination of cherries, slow roasted pumpkin, smoked potato foam, pine nuts and Iberico pork slices. Overall yummy yummy yum yum yum.
An interesting starter - a cold soup made of tomatoes, tiny shrimps and frozen plum juice. A good combination to wake up your appetite getting ready for the main.
