The coffee shop is located in a rather quiet part of choa chu kang. Occasionally, you can hear the MRT passing by but I find comfort in this area in the afternoons as it feels like it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the other parts of the neighbourhood, feels as though life has slowed down a little.
DO NOTE that this stall typically opens for breakfast and they close at around 12+ to 1+pm. Also, waiting time for the food can be 30 min or more (we waited 30 min for ours at around 12+pm). So you might want to head there early when you got some time to spare.

Their carrot cake is honestly one of the better cakes even though the caloric content is REALLY REALLY HIGH. Sinful indulgence to start the day, but well, it’s a once in a while thing and it didn’t disappoint so it’s fine? Also had a refreshing mint citrus tea (my go to tea at Starbucks) as I try not to take coffee if I can over the weekends!

HAPPY MID AUTUMN! Yummy yummy mooncakes from @awfullychocolatesg that’s unique and rich in chocolate. The chocolate brownie mooncake was a twist in the ordinary mooncake flavours and I love the pastry for both of these, especially the dark chocolate one which was moist and rich in chocolate. It’s a sinful indulgence but worth every bite and calorie!💯👍🏼

I love how the cakes are light.
Tiramisu was an awesome indulgence, slightly creamy with the aroma of espresso.
Juicy Mango Cheesecake on the other hand was a light and refreshing choice. Love how they were really generous with the mango pulps!
It was indeed a yummy treat and I’m glad it wasn’t too heavy - perfect for a midday snack!

The mushroom soup was ok, but portion was quite small.. For the main, I had the alfredo and it was a plate of creamy goodness. Also ordered a lavender tea latte, was on the sweeter side but the aroma of the lavender was really strong. They have waffles and ice cream which are sold at a reasonable price however we were rather full so we didn’t try it.. will return one day to try though.
The ambience of the place was good as it is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Good place to hang out, relax and just take a break.

Love the colour and most importantly the taste! The cake is soft, the coconut cream was light and there were tender pieces of young coconut flesh between the layers. Unlike most coconut desserts which are rather heavy, I like this for how light it is. This is one uniquely Singaporean flavour that you wouldn’t want to miss!

What bout going local with pre(tea) good ice cream waffles from @uddersicecream? This one features their Triple Tea Sundae which comes with 3 scoops of ice cream - Kyoto Matcha, Earl Grey and Thai Iced Tea. Topped with coconut, almond granolas and caramel sauce, and dusted with matcha powder for the finishing touches, it is a great indulgence, and REALLY REALLY SHIOK💯👍🏼 personally I liked the earl grey ice cream especially coz the taste of the tea really really stood out, the Kyoto matcha was rather strong tasting too. However the taste of the tea in Thai iced tea was not as obvious compared to the other 2. Had to wait a while for them to prepare the waffle but it was worth the wait as the waffle was warm and crisp. It is the perfect remedy for the hot and sunny afternoons that we are currently experiencing!

Featuring their black sesame apricot cake and healing garden tea. The cake was moist, soft and fine with the strong aroma of black sesame which also tasted a little like chocolate. Together with the sweet and soft apricots, it makes a delightful and refreshing treat. Healing garden tea is my favourite at cedele. Mild tasting, with a slight soothing sweetness which lingers at the back of my throat, it never fails to calm me down amidst stressful days. A perfect combination for a lazy and sunny afternoon when all you want to do is get away from the scorching hot sun and relax.
