delightful desserts
these r literally my guilty pleasure (as opposed to my usual bbt): but this is so good!! tastes like meted mcflurry.... but not in a bad way! defo rich n creamy n sweet though not gna lie :”) leaves me feeling satisfied heh
however, this kinda disappointed me. by no means was it bad as it was rich in flavour from all its spices + it was loaded w diff textures from the shredded carrots and walnuts etc. however, it was a lil too dense and dry for my liking. i felt that it was missing its iconic cheese cream frosting (but ofc that’s not vegan.....). oh well it was still worth a try though!
the tart was crunchy and buttery, whilst the filling itself was soft and studded with rich and sweet caramelized bananas. the sprinkle of dedicated coconut at the rim gave it a tropical touch which rounded up the flavours nicely ~~~
ft 70% chocolate malt w fruity stones + 80% dark choc w cocoa nibs and toasted marshmallow
it is a delicate milk cream base that’s rich yet light on the palate at the same time. it’s so darn good, with lil pieces of freeze dried raspberries for tartness and crunchy bitter cocoa nibs for a nice crunch. the cone itself was fresh and crisp, with the hazelnut chocolate spread and more raspberry grains bc why not!! such a indulgence n it’s rly soooooo amazing 🤤
:”) altho there’s only gula melaka flavour i’m not complaining bc it’s one of my all time favs. the consistency is as creamy and smooth as ever, the gula melaka is distinct and sweet but not overpowering. for $1.50 it rly satisfies ice cream cravings and i wld defo choose it over mcds 😛
that’s the best albeit simplest way to describe it. it was mousse like, every bite melts in ur mouth. i rly enjoyed quality chocolate but the deep, burnt, sweet taste was abit too much for me (i don’t rly like caramel though so it’s personal opinion!!) i wld have appreciated more textures to the cake though, perhaps a biscuit base or smt. however, the crepe was so tasty it was defo a win for me. i rly enjoyed the paperthin layers were so intricate, and they were loaded w light yet luscious cream!!
reminded me a lil of gingerbread and it was rly nice. pb&j is one of my fav combinations however i felt like it was a lil too salty for my liking as the sweetness of the jam was overpowered but still decent nonetheless!! jk rly enjoyed the roasted pistachio it’s one of our go-tos, and the thai milk tea was v fragrant yum
basically all u cld ever want and need in a cheese tart 🤤
the waffle was pretty decent, light and fluffy on the inside w a crisp edge. however, the earl grey taste was barely existent, probably overshadowed by the caramel sauce. the scoop of vanilla ice cream that came w it was also kinda meh, overall it was just v mediocre for me esp for $12.50. to be fair it isn’t exactly their niche item on the menu ~ HOWEVER, shout out to their amazing iced latte which is not featured here it was so good i wld defo go back for that (which i did!!) their beans are so aromatic and i love the chocolatey, nutty undertones 😋
while they r both rich fruits, it is surprisingly not jelat and just tastes like a smoothie. the avocado taste is absent but it adds on to the creaminess!! the durian flavour was pungent but not too overpowering and the lil chunks are gives extra texture too it’s such a worth it indulgent treat + i love that it’s not too sweet 😋 if u r feeling extra fancy add the petite sago i rly like it too!! the pink lychee tea (right) was refreshing and light as compared to the former but it leans towards the sweet side. pluspoint is that it comes w lychee jelly which adds a nice extra bite!
in general, i don’t fancy caramel at all but this wasn’t too sweet and complemented the salted egg yolk bursts (i have raved enough of this mochi balls they r the best basically HAHA) very well. also the sticky salted caramel drizzle + peanut butter and almond granola added a nice texture and an additional dimension of flavour ~~~ (they also have green apple sorbet as the other choice of flavour if u r not into softserve!!)
