Happen to pass by this restaurant and decided to try their set lunch, we waited for 30mins and started to research on this place. It is prized for its japanese home cooking style with delicious miso soup and charcoal grilled items. The set lunch is reasonably priced with 6 assorted items: perfectly Fried Breaded Chicken, charcoal grilled Saba fish with hand grated radish, Vinegared Salmon, char-grilled Zucchini and Squash, Spicy Mentaiko and boiled Spinach. Everything was so well done (including the rice and miso soup). Worth coming back to try the other set lunch specials that was sold out by the time we got in.

Always order with the fried shark nuggets and braised egg to complete the meal (total: $5)! Lastly top it off with more garlic, vinegar and chili padi! •

The century egg porridge with pork at Teck Hin Delicacies is so smooth and tasty. Chee Cheong Fun was a good compliment for the porridge, recommend to get them together. The queue was long (around 12pax before me) but customers are served fast. Waited only 10mins.
Will I be back? - For the porridge. A good choice for a light breakfast and the price is super reasonable @ $1.80 per bowl

Must order their prata kosong ($1.20). The chilli at the side adds the kick! Teh Halia was above average with a good taste of ginger.
