Casual dining
Feasted at all you can eat in 90minutes, Korean BBQ Buffet @bugisjunctionxbugisplus #daessiksinkoreanbbq By far the best value for my $$ with weekday Lunch At 14:90 per person, you canāt ask for more. A wide array of marinated meats, salads, soups, fruits , hot and cold beverages and lastly dessert. The best part was the staff were pretty prompt at replenishing the meats etc, given the high demand and yes, you cook it all right at your table. Itās almost smoke freeššš

If you thought that Indian food is only about Northern Indian Style, Tandoori Chicken ,Butter Chicken, roti, naans etc or South Indian Dosas, Idliās etc or cooking different styles of biryani then you are yet to explore the various food treasures hidden in Little India,
One such place is Premaas, hidden is the little lanes along Serangoon Road on Dalhousie lane.
This place serves up authentic Kerala cuisine, which is so different from the Indian food available across Singapore. For Lunch they have a large variety of set meals to choose from( Veg and non veg)
I had a Mutton set meal @$12 ( I paid 50 cents, extra for par boiled Kerala rice , instead of white rice) it is served in a banana leaf, with an assortment and free flow of vegetables and curries like sambar, dal and a dessert .
The flavors are milder and yet tasty. A must try are their meen pollichatthu ( pomfret cooked with spices in a banana leaf), and Appams( a fluffy pancake which goes well with any food) though there is a whole list of good dishes waiting for you all to try out including duck preparations.
They offer whole other variety of food for everyoneās tastebuds . The list is endless.
The ambience doesnāt bother me much, as I visit this place very often , only for their most delicious food however at peak hours the wait can be long and seating a bit cramped up, do be prepared.
This lunch was just what I needed , a quick bite with lovely ambience in between my shopping spree at VivoCity.
Apart from the beautiful harbor view and lovely ambience it also has a great value for your $$
A lunch set at $18 with an option of a salad and main or soup and main or main and dessert .
Had the salad and main option and paired my juicy n flavorful Bangers n Mash with a chilled and crisp Chardonnay ($7 a glass)
Raj serves the crispiest dosa ever. My favorite being Butter Paper Dosa. Itās super crisp, a bit more oily than the regular dosas, but Iām not complaining as I love the flavor of butter.
This has been my go to place for Dosaās since almost 10years.
There is a whole variety of Dosas and other hearty meals to choose from and all at a great value for your $
If you are a dosa lover then you must visit Raj, which is quite convenient to reach as itās at a short walkable distance from Farrer Park MRT ( at the end of racecourse road)
This place is a newly opened outlet, it is famous for the Fish Head curry, however this time we decided to opt for a fusion of dishes from the menu.
From Northern Indian Butter Chicken to Southern Indian Mysore Mutton,Apolo chicken Masala and Fish Sambal. Had it with an assortment of Plain Naans, Butter Naana and lastly some white steam rice ( which comes with two servings of vegetables)
I must say that most of the food has a very high spice level( I donāt mean š¶Spice , but a blend of spices) If you are planning on trying Indian food for the first time then my advice to you is to check with the staff, for dishes that are mild , you would also want to pair the food with steam rice instead of the usual biryani rice, as steam rice tends to bring out the flavors of the food...
If you are the foodie, who had already eaten Indian food, then go ahead and feast on.....
As for me , I love spicy food but the level of spice blend in this afternoons food selection was a bit overpowering ....
I still love their food though š
Seating is spacious.
Conveniently located in Parkway parade Mall.
Efficient and friendly staff
Butter Chicken $14
Apolo Chic Masala $6
Fish Sambal $7
Mutton Mysore $13
Butter Naan $4 each
Plain Naan $3 each
Value Breakfast set.
Choice of any Banh Mi and a coffee, tea or bottled water at $5:90 ( A very good deal )
You can also opt for any Pho @ $6:90( not applicable for the wagyu beef pho)
I had the Lemongrass Chicken, Banh Mi filled with the Toasted Baguette, veggies , mayonnaise and egg with a black coffee( not in pic)
The crispness of the bread was just right, not overly toasted. I would have preferred a more flavorful punch in every bite, but the chicken lacked the lemongrass flavors but it wasnāt an issue as you have a lot of sauce options available on each table.
The queues are not too long for breakfast but be prepared to wait a while before you are seated for lunch as itās quite busy.
If you are looking for a casual place to chill out in the neighborhood with friends or a dinner date, this is the place.
Frequented this place at least 5-6 time in the past 4 weeks, just love sitting outdoors as I enjoy the lovely cross winds ( they also have a spacious indoor option where you can enjoy a game of darts)
As for food, they have an array of cuisines to choose from. Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Asian, Italian and a good Western Breakfast too.
I keep coming back for this Thai style Sea-bass Steamed in an aromatic , spicy and zesty sauce. You will want to pair it with nothing else but just some simple steamed rice.
At $25 for a decent sized fish. It is a good value for your $$
Plus no restaurant can you good without a set of hardworking, efficient and friendly staff . The staff at this place have it all.
